Florist of Omaha is a full service, one-stop shop for all your floral needs. Our company motto is: “Taking the planning + designing off your shoulders but not out of your hands”. We provide flowers, gifts and fresh plants, delivery and/or special events. Dr. Vernetta started her career in floral design by planning weddings and events. Her passion for floral design led her in the right direction and she soon opened up Florist of Omaha in 2013. She is now celebrating 25 years of serving the community through designing every-day floral arrangements, special occasions, weddings, funerals, and much more. Dr. Vernetta has worked for years mastering the art of creating arrangements for various establishments and clients who became regular and familiar faces. Her skill of 'listening' and offering 'exactly what the customer was looking for' has taken her on this successful journey to the present day of owning one of the most successful floral shops in the greater Omaha. Dr. Vernetta chalks her success up to her ongoing love for creating uniqueness in each and every event, as well as her ability to exceed her client's expectations time and time again. Dr. Vernetta is an award winning floral designer and a prestigious member of the SAF. Brides have voted her The Best of Wedding Wire. Her company has been featured in the Nebraska Wedding Day, Wedding Essentials, Midlands Business Journal, Omaha World Herald, Style Me Pretty, CNN, KETV, Fox 24 and more. She is a hands-on business owner who loves being involved with the inception, creation and the end result of Florist of Omaha. When Dr. Vernetta is not creating happy memories for others, she adores spending her time with her fabulous two children and loved ones.
